Today I am thankful for a great woman--Gladys Coverdale, who raised a great man, my husband. And I'm also thankful for his 40th birthday, for great friends who love and appreciate him, and for time spent together.

Today I am thankful for the opportunity to connect with other mothers who are on a similar journey raising their kids and sometimes struggling. It's comforting knowing that our "job" is valuable.

I'm back-- Day 1

This gratitude journal was one of the greatest gifts I gave myself last year.  It was a constant reality check and reminder of all the blessings I have and continue to receive.  I tried several different ways of capturing these sentiments but have been thus far unsuccessful. So here I am again. Thanks for being my audience.

Today I am thankful for friends who are a phone call or text message away.
